A question for later
« on: December 15, 2011, 05:04:54 am »
I cannot remember at what age I switched DD1 from stage 1 nipples to stage 2 (I do remember going through a couple of days of horrible feedings before I switched to a faster flow as a last resort). I know DD2 is not ready at this point but think it wouls be a good idea to have a kind of "guess-ta-mate" to keep my eye on YKWIM?

We're still using 1s here for Madeleine, but with Aaron I think he was a couple months old.  I think it also just depends on the LO...Aaron would suddenly take ages to feed and get frustrated when it was time for a nipple upgrade.

With DD1 I didn't switch to stage 2 nipples until she was 3 months old.  But with DD2 we switched at about 4 or 5 weeks and things have gotten much better. :)
DD1 (1/09)
DD2 (10/11)
DD3 (3/15)

DD was around 3 months... same thing, few days of frustrated feeding :)
