How about scrambled eggs? Or pancakes, or french toast?

We do what Jessica mentioned above.  Scrambled eggs, pancakes, or french toast are on rotation in this house in the mornings! You can get lots of different things into them too -- ie I put pureed or finely chopped zucchini or cauliflower in his eggs, put a variety of different fruits and/or veggies in the pancakes and french toast (have a picky eater here, so need to take advantage of opportunities to hide these things lol).

Here is a yummy idea!  Core an apple and cut into rings....boil slightly if you need them to be soft (but not so much that they fall apart).  Dip them in pancake batter....I add cinamon and then pan fry. Mmmmmmmm!

Muffins, omelets, and egg and cheese muffin sandwiches are big hits here.

Oh there are loads of things you can do at this age!  Here are some ideas from my blog:

Pancakes (either fruit):

or potato:

(Also pancakes freeze really well so no need to faff every morning.)

Scrambled eggs (microwaved for simplicity):

Bircher muesli:

And considering the time of year, why not have bubble and squeak???

You could even do sausages if you cut them up to avoid the choking risk.  With some mushrooms and scrambled egg the odd fry up wouldn't be a bad thing.  Kids need the energy at that age!

There's a Spanish Omelette (Tortilla) recipe I've just uploaded to my site which might be good for breakfast.  It's super quick if you have some boiled potatoes from the night before.

Blueberry pancakes were (and still are) a huge favorite. I add ground flaxseed to the batter...doesn't have any taste, but adds a bit of nutrition!   I also make really wholesome banana muffins with whole wheat flour...one of those and some yogurt are a great breakfast....and she loved them at your lo's age too!
