Kara,
So last night I got brave and decided to stop the stimulant(over the last four days I have slowly decreased it) and guess what?? Nice full diaper this morning and another this afternoon.  Consistency like it should be too!!! I am so happy!!! But I am still having issues with him getting enough of the soy milk.  He just doesnt want it, in a bottle or a sippy.  Last night he only had 3 oz before bed making the total 12 oz for the day which I am ok with but only 3 oz before bed when he would normally drink 7...he has be be starving when he wakes right??

Then so far today he has had 5oz first thing and then 2oz this afternoon...hopefully I can get him to drink 5 oz tonight.  But I did purchase soy yogurt yesterday and HE LOVES IT!!!! :0

Good news but I would check with the ped re: milk vs formula with soy... I think you are supposed to use formula longer than the standard 1 year of age when it comes to soy???   And, I wouldn't overload him with soy - there are crazy estrogens in soy that can mess with a little boys hormones.

Well he's only getting about 10oz of soy milk and 1/2 container of yogurt a day. Dr isn't concernied that is enough to mess w hormones. I may switch to almond milk soon just to avoid the soy.

I might have to look into almond milk!  I am concerned that A is having a reaction to cow's milk... ugh

Aww, I did read your post after your reply.  Poor baby!!!

I will follow that post to see how things are going.  I am going to try the almond milk when this soy is out probably tomorrow.  I am really worried about the hormones and I dont want to chance it even though his pedi said its ok.

I know what you mean... it's just so hard to make a choice... ugh.

I am going to just keep A on her formula for now... she only has about 15 ozs a day.

yeah, Cole only is getting about 10oz of soy and then I give him soy yogurt too.  I am assuming if I drop the milk and just do yogurt he will be ok with that small amount.

hmmm... avocados??  Super high in calories and good fats!

That and a bit of olive oil in his food - always good for them ;)  I used it when I mash potatoes for A...

Great thanks.  I will give it a shot.  He is starting to drink a little more milk.. I was able to get him to take a 6 oz bottle this morning.  He had 4 oz of soy(just finishing the half gallon) and 2 oz of almond.  That stuff is yummy!!! :)
