Wow, thanks Kara.....

I just feel like he needs certain amounts of certain things to help him be regular.  :)  But I have been feeding him a ton of fruits and veggies lately and hardly any grains and he is so constipated its ridiculous....I am going to talk to my GI tomorrow and see if she thinks it could be a dairy allergy again....I just think since the blood work came back negative for gluten/wheat intolerance that may be our next experiment.  NOw that he is old enough to be on cows milk maybe I could try soy milk....

How many teeth does A have?  Cole has 5.  :)

She has 8 teeth now :)  Just cut the last one on Boxing Day :)

This is her typical day:

Wake 630am - 4 ozs
Breakfast 8/830am - usually a yogurt, Cheerios, fresh fruit OR baby cereal/fruit
Morning snack 1030am - cheese, crackers, veggie puffs
Bottle 1130am - 4 ozs
Nap 1145-2pm
Lunch 230pm - usually sandwich, fresh fruit, steamed veggies (I cook a bit extra at dinner time to use for her lunch) or grab a few frozen florets of broccoli and nuke them to heat up quickly. If we are out, I will take a jar of something like veggies/pasta
Afternoon snack (not every day, just if she is super starving)- half a banana OR Nutragrain bar
Dinner 5pm (or 530 if she had a snack) - whatever we are having if DH is home... otherwise I give her a jar of veggies/meat and then finger foods like grapes/banana/orange sections

If she eats a decent dinner, I let her have an arrowroot cookie for dessert ;)

Bottle at 715 - offer 9 ozs and she usually drinks it all - always at least 7 ozs though...
Bed 730pm.

Ok, thanks.  So she still has 3 bottles a day then?  That worries me about Cole....he only has 2 and its barely 12oz total and I rarely feed him dairy otherwise b/c I have heard it makes contipation worse.....

He doesnt act starving though... :)

She does have 3 a day now... I have tried a couple of times to drop her first one and she gets wicked upset... going to try again once this tooth stops causing her issues ;)

I worried about dairy with Alexandra too and the whole constipation thing... yogurt generally won't be an issue and neither will most other things in moderation :)

No idea hun... Have they done an ultrasound recently?

Have you been giving any pain meds?

Ibuprofen is incredibly constipating... stop giving it... I find that Alexandra will get backed up if she has more than 2 doses for more than a day or two in a row.

Totally could be hun... Alexandra gets really backed up fast with it... I am certain that it is the main reason she got so backed up in July without me knowing... I thought she had teething pain, so I would medicate her and then it would mask the pain from the constipation...

She is cutting a tooth right now actually so I have been medicating her on and off for a week or so now (it started to cut on the 26th but it was bad a couple of days before that)... she was a little unhappy with her pooping this morning... she had 2 full doses yesterday plus a half dose mid day... she is fine with two full doses, but the extra half dose will get her every single time.

Just left specialist appt. He is so backed up it's worse than before!! She wants me to do 1 cap of moralax 5 times a day for the next 2 days plus 5ml of senna (laxative)  twice a day. If it doesn't work they will have to admit him and get it out for him!!! I am so worried about him. Please keep us in ur thoughts!! :-)
