Okay so NW at 11.30 (we tackling these after our hol) up at 7.50 out of cot 8

Weird thing is yesterday and last night he pooped 4 times! 2xday and Twice in the night (one before NW and one at WU) this is solo unusual. It's not diarrhea but he has had it and been on antibiotics so clearly his tummy has been a bit blocked up? ...

So today will be
A 4hr40mins
Nap 12.40 - wake after 2hrs 15
A 5.5.
BT 8.25

Things will stay a bit wonky till we get back from our hol then poor Z will get an EAS overhaul!

Looks good to me!

Weird with the pooping so much - must be his tummy getting back to normal :)

I know, so odd ::) He did have diarrhea, then antibiotics...so maybe he got clogged up? It wasnt like he ate a ton more or anything?

Once we get his BT antics sorted I want to move our day back to 7.30 BT and 7am WU, sort the random 1 X NW out...and drop a BF...poor tyke wont know whats hit him! :P

Okay so today was okay, but his cutting bottom tooth was making him tired and crabby in the PM :(
WU 7.50 out of cot at 8am
A 4hrs 40mins
Nap 12.40 - 2 hrs I woke
A 5hrs40mins
BT 8.20

He was clearly tired at BT when I went to PD at 8.15ish but cried again. We kissed him goodnight and walked out. I listened and the cry escalated a few mins later. When I went in he wanted up and more BF - which I said no to. He had some water and calmed down then was back in the cot at 8.20 - haven't heard anything.

He was medicated 20mins prior for his teeth, and for the first time EVER he didn't want his bath, really resisted :-\ Its like he was scared? :( Anyway, all in all I am 99% sure we have the following at play
- cutting a tooth
- SA - for me, he isn't interested in anyone else ::) - I thought maybe this was the wanting to BF more at random times too! (having to say no is sad too but necessary :( )
- routine tweak needed and possibly WW

Wonder Weeks.  All babies have huge developmental leaps at roughly the same time & they can be cranky, fussy, sleep can go out of the window for a while, then all of a sudden they start doing new things.

Thank you Claire.  I did hazard a guess it was wonder week, maybe I heard it somewhere before, but I know nothing about them.  Thanks for the link too - very helpful.

Did he end up settling at 8:20? I would say that's pretty good if you put him in at 8:15...it's taking L 15min or so to settle for bed these days, I have to work on getting her schedule changed too, arg!  One thing that is helping us is talking to her more.  So at naptime we sit with her after her books and say things like "It's naptime now, when you get up from your snooze we are going to (insert afternoon activities)"  and before bed we sit with her and talk about what she did that day, how exciting/fun it was but now it's bedtime so she needs to calm down and get some good rest and then say what we are going to do tomorrow.  It's really helped since she's got the ww happening right now too and is finding it difficult to just chill out and sleep :)

umm so didnt go so well? - Woke 45mins into his nap crying and I had to resettle. Not sure if it was pain, but I suspect so as if OT he resettles immediately. After the resettle we let him sleep a touch longer. FOught BT again but felt more like SA to me than UT IYKWIM?

Sooo
WU 7
Nap 11.40 - 12.25 cried out and back to sleep at 12.45ish. Up at 2.15 (2hrs15)
BT was meant to be 7.45 due to late nap WU but I was late and PD at 8pm, cried so in at 8.05 and happy in cot at ~8.08? - Thank chatted for a bit. Asleep at 8.20 (what do you know his new fav time to sleep no matter what A!? )

This kid is driving me nuts.

Anyway off on hol for a week so no doubt his week will be nuts and on our return we will have a raft of things to sort out!

I think Alexandra and Zac have been on Skype plotting our demise Sara.  We had a NW at 420am - back to sleep at 5am... awake and up for the day at 550am.  Gross.

Omg that is also gross! You won't believe what happened today...it was odd but I am rollingwith it to see what happens.
WU 8 am
Grumpy all morning so DH said let's just get on the road.
Nap 11.15 Offered bottle at 11 on road and in 5 mins he was out to it...very unusual, must have needed it. Slept 1hr 10 woke happy.
Fine in car, stopped for ages had playground play etc back in car at 3.30
Nap 3.50!!! For 40 mins woke happy...

So odd. Aiming for BT of 7.30 expecting 8 pm but I think we may actually have had OT rather than UT. If he's going to go nuts tonight anyway may as well start a bit early anyway ::)

Hope your day goes okay Kara! :-*

weird is right!  Alexandra has days like that too - they must need the catchup... but she generally ends the day OT when she has a day like that :)

She was sleeping at 730pm... and up at 530am - gross.
