Stopped motilium now feeling depressed
« on: December 25, 2011, 08:51:56 am »
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone who has used motilium experienced feelings of depression once stopping.  I have been very teary and sad the past 3 days and attribute it to stopping the medication.

Hi sweetie!

Personally, I have no experience with motilium, but I have read that it affects hormones, which could probably result in some feelings of depression.  How old is your LO?  Could it be a case of post partum depression?  It doesn't have to come immediately after your LO is born, ladies are diagnosed with it sometimes several months after their babies are born.

If it's worriesome to you, I might ask the person who prescribed it to you in the first place about it.
((((hugs))))
