No advice hun, as I have gone the formula route. After pumping so much with H to wean him back onto BF from bottles and for formula. I decided this time I wasnt going to do it

If its just 1 feed  a day, could you live with it? I'm gearing up to the DF being formula. I'm happy knowing it's the best all round solution for all of us - the benefits to me and H in terms of time regained outweigh the downside in my mind.

Keep up with working on your supply if that's where you want to go - not trying to 'persuade' you - either way, big hugs

I found the only way of getting my evening supply up was pumping specifically at those times, after the 1,4,7 feeds and topping her up with that- for like, 3 or even 5 days in a row and then we were back to only off the boob.

It was mainly though related to my own exhaustion.

I needed DH to re settle as both of mine had a habit, pre 3 mths, of doing huge explosive BF poops after EVERY SINGLE FEED....so resettling meant nappy, cream, re swaddle and settle. That's why I wasn't doing it ;-)

I also found that letting DH resettle meant that she wasn't smelling my milk and then yammering for it. ;) If she was truly hungry that was one thing, but I let him handle habitual wakings for a spell once I worked that trick out. :D
