and now another poo. Saved the last one for DH to look at (lucky guy!) and he said the colour has aslo changed (slightly green). i thought this too but needed a second opinion. Is it normal for symptoms to worsen if it is an allergy?

Yes and yes! Green watery poop is a sign of food intolerance / allergy. It will get worse until the allergen is removed from her diet.

Fingers crossed for a good result from the doc!

It does seem to co-incide with introducing the gaviscon. I think you would have seen your GP today, How did it go? Are you in the UK?

Thankyou all for your replies and advice. We have been on the gavsicon for just under a week and have seen a huge improvement. Within two days Amelie had has more milk than ever before over 24 hour period. Now just to get her back into a routine....I will leave that for another post!! Fingers crossed we have things under control now. Thanks again x
