OS?? or US causing napping?
« on: January 22, 2012, 15:52:24 pm »
Ok so I'm really confused!

Lo is nearly 8 weeks, he used to feed bang on 3hours taking around 180ml.. he would stay awake for around 1 hour, then go down for 1-2 hours sleep

Recently he has started not taking as much food at each feed (around 100ml), so I thought maybe he needed more playing as previously we just talked/sang whilst fed then had cuddles I was worried he was US

Past week I have tried playing, he seems to enjoy it and looks around, however Is still dropping off on bottle and yawning when finished.

Now he will go to sleep but wake up crying after 30mins, we use a dummy as he sucks his thumb otherwise, so we put  it in, and 30 mins later he wakes up again

At night there is no problem and he will self settle even If dummy has fallen out

Ps he flings himself everywhere and crys (almost a whine), so I assume he is tired, but I worry if I just let him sleep straight after feeding when his eyes drop, he will become US

Hello and welcome to BW :)

It sounds like your LO needs an A time increase

Although it is difficult to say without seeing a full day's EASY.  Would you like to post your EAS times so we can have a look?
