So a non-nursery day today and his first am nap in over 9days? out him down for 25 mins at 10 and have just put him down again at 125 after a 3hr A he 'objected' for 10 mins then went to sleep at 135......would be happy with an hours sleep as think morning nap may have mucked up sleep for the day!
Was interesting after over a whole week of 1 nap he went down for AM nap this morning with no objections and was not happy when woken. Obv the nursery days knacker him out

A weird day.....
up 730
Nap1 10-1025
A 1025-125
Nap2 135-305 1.5 hrs
but was crying for bed again at 640?? so by the time he had bottle and was in bed it was 650
he went straight to sleep but then I had to settle him at 720...he was face down. Think teething might be starting up again. A LOT of dribble today!

could be teeth, or that middle A may have been too long after that 25min nap. I would go for 2.5hrs after a 25min nap

Well we have been doing ok,,,rolling along with our one nap days...but then the OT came up and bit us in the butt. Last 2 nights have been a lot of NW and WU getting earlier..and to top it off short naps ~1hr 20 on a good day!
Today it all went pear shaped. He didnt have nursery so decided to give him a morning nap to allow him to catchup on OT...What a bad idea :-\
WU 7
Nap 945-1015 (know I should have capped it at 20 max!)
Put him down at 1 and he chatted for 30 mins was just about to go asleep (I think) and the binmen arrived....and that was the end of that, repeated trying to put him down,,,he eventually fell asleep at 305 for 20 mins!
so bed at 630 and asleep at 640!
Really hoping this was just a one off bad day as a result of a morning nap I probably shouldnt have done. Dont think its teeth.
Will push for the one nap tomorrow (even if ts at 1130).

I am soo worried about all this now as I am away (at wedding, spa hotel ect with girl friends fom Thurs for 2 nights!!!) need him to be back on track before I go!
Ugggg

hugs hun, Z had some off days during the transition, they are inevitable really. When he wakes early can you APOP him back to sleep at all? Once we were firmly on 1 nap I found trying the CN didnt really work anymore, EBT worked better, or PD for his nap a bit earlier and letting him sleep longer sometimes worked.

Let me know how tomorrow goes :-*

Thanks ZM, this boy has never been APOPed!!! he wont have it ??? so if he wakes early I have to let him self settle, if I go in then he is def up! I did try today after his 20 min PM nap (I had to really) but no joy.
So far he is asleep but his ENWs dont usually kickoff until 930ish so waiting for that!
See you and the boy are doing really well...result!
Will let you know how we go tomorrow

HUGS - yes the only downside of independent sleep right ;) Zac wont be APOPed anymore but before 1 he would, that said his NW etc were usually pain which is why with some pain relief/cuddle and/or feed he often went back.

So happy we are back on track, with a language explosion too so no doubt a developmental leap played its part, and me not sorting out his A times when he needed it - resulting in UT/OT loop ::)

I hope he has a good night for you x

Not a bad night, certainly not as many NWs as I was expecting...
so he slept 640-640...then I am pretty sure fell back asleep for another 10 mins or so after chatting for a few mins so took WU as 7am
Put him down for nap at 1145
S 1155-135 - so 1hr 40....but awake at 135 so a long time until bed
Bed 630...was fine for first 5 mins then got really upset, something he has not done for a long time (months) at BT.....finally asleep at
655...
dont think it was OT,,I think he is 63 weeks this week and we may be having some wonder week/developmental stuff going on.
I am off tomorrow for 2 days with friends.....worried about how OH will manage with him solo but it has to be done : /
Hope you all have peaceful nights
