I will be interested to see how you get on. Here we are on a 3.5 hr routine and most A times are 2hrs followed by a 1.5 hr nap.

Solids? Is that for a reason, or...? It's a bit early to start and it could be contributing to some of their issues (an upset tummy could cause sleep disturbances). Just curious!

They all have spit up/AR issues. The acid is under control, but it didn't help the spit up much. They don't eat very much at all, and until today I was only doing one meal, but the pediatrician recommended adding another meal to further help. Just instead of thickening bottles I am spoon feeding (which I am much more comfortable with!)

I already see one issue and I have no idea how to work it out... Tyler and Tabitha are not fans of that short A time at the 6 o'clock feeding. I tested out the theory and they didn't sleep until bedtime... however they were in fairly decent moods given the circumstances lol. Tabitha fell asleep during the bottle though and Tyler was a little fussy. I'm also going to have to limit the 6pm feeding to a snack. Elizabeth ate too much and then wasn't a fan of the bedtime bottle. It make some tweaking.

No clue what I can do to extend that A time except push bedtime back. The nap before is already only 1.5 hours.

Not too well at the moment. From the looks of it we are having a growth spurt. I've never really noticed one before, but for a few days we went back to eating every 3 hours and 2 MOTN feedings and so far this morning Tyler has drained 2 bottles back to back so maybe we're in the worst of it now. I'm hoping to try again in a few days. We're still having 45 minute naps, but I'm not sure if they are just growth spurt/developmental or something wrong with my EASY right now lol. I'm just having to hunker down and hold on tight for a bit lol.

So now things are starting to even out a little bit and I have decided to push for a 1.5hr awake time. So far it is helping with the naps, but I'll know more. I decided to do this once I realized that not even a 1 month old sleep 17-18 hours a day! So a 5 month old definitely shouldn't and even if you adjust their age to 3 months then it's too much. For right now we are staying on a 3ish hour routine, but I'm following their lead on the feedings until we get it worked out.
I'm having to push Tyler, because I think he's gotten too used to the routine and thinks that after being up for an hour he needs to go to bed. So quite a bit of fussing off and on for that last 30 minutes, but I know that when their routine changes (visits, Dr appts, etc) that they can stay up 2 hours.

My guy would do this too!! The first A time push for us was a KILLER- he hated it, but after that one it got much much easier... Remember even just a walk around the yard, or watching you with another baby is fine- as long as he's awake!!
