They have fears and opinions to consider as well

How dare they develop personalities! (LOL)

Yes, he has always had a long day. I have never been able to get it shorter. I managed to get him asleep by 7.30 the other night but he still woke up. But last night he woke up and managed to get back to sleep without me going in...I will try for shorter days for a while and see if that helps...but the dream thing could be a real possibility. Maybe I will also start to talk about my own 'dream stories' and see if that helps...or do you think he's not ready for that?

Sorry, jumping on a little late, but wanted to ask a question...does your LO have their two year molars yet?  DS had something like this for about a month over the summertime (so around 22 m/o, I know...a lot younger) and sounds a little similar but wanted to make sure that it wasn't being overlooked!!
(Don't know if the other girls know you a bit better and therefore know if your LO's teeth are all finished  :) )
