I can't check for unread posts!

I can't check for unread responses to my posts or unread posts at all :(

Also noticed that there were responses to my threads yesterday but they weren't showing up in unread responses.

Please help.

Vikki I have not been able to do this for about 6 months now!  I have tried everything and for some reason when I ask to view unread posts I get an empty list.... so let me know if you find a solution!

I have a thread in here somewhere with some suggestions from admins on what to try - cache clearing and such - none of them worked for me but it is worth going through all of them if you can find the post, and trying them to see if they work!! 

It actually happens on my phone most of the time as well!

Just on my phone right now but when I can peel the toddler off of me I'll check in my laptop. Didn't think of that. If I can figure out how to clear the cache on my phone I'll try that too. it's weird. The page looks the same, just doesn't have the links at the top to see the responses to my posts or to read unread posts.

LOL Vikki I was initially goingt o suggest the same but re-read your post and thought you were having the same problem as me.  No, mine is different - when I click on the 'read unread posts' I get no posts in my list and a sentence that says 'you have no unread posts since your last visit...'  So a differnet problem!

Yes Tom!  OK, well I only ever BW on my phone and on my laptop and have never logged in on another actual computer. I've sort of gotten used to it by now! :) But I do seem to be the only person it happens to which IS odd so it does seem like it should be my computer.  But yet at the same time it doesn't as none of the things that should fix it actually fix it.  It's all very weird - but far more important things in life to worry about :)

If the chance ever arises, try it on another computer to see if it's the same. By all accounts, it sounds like it should be an issue on your end, but there is the remote possibility that it's a problem in the database...

Sorry about whatever that slowdown was just now. I was trying to diagnose it and it went away before I could find the cause...
