8 week old triplets and Dream feed

how much do you give at a dream feed.  My triplets are 8 weeks and we are trying to do a dream feed but I am not sure how much to give them.

Triplets :o Wow!! How are you coping? Welcome to the boards by the way!

The dream feed doesn't always work with little babies, so if it's not working leave it for a couple of weeks and try again. I would offer a normal size feed so that they can take what they want. If you are just starting it give it a week to see if they will take it and then you can decide if it's working or not.

hi, how many weeks were you when the triplets were born??  just wondering what their corrected age is?  anyways, at 9 weeks my DD only takes 3-4ozs at the DF og EBM and i am sure she frinks more during the day.  if they last happily sleeping after that DF then they are getting enough :)  Good luck with those babies!!

Their corrected age is 1 week now as last weekend was my due date :)

I'm not sure how their corrected age affects things, but we only got it sorted about 2 weeks ago at 9 weeks. I made sure shed got the hang of bedtime 1st and just let her sleep so we didn't risk upsetting her BT pattern, then we introduced the DF (also works for me as I can only cope with changing 1 thing at a time!).

My LO actually seems to take more at the DF than any other feed. She's BF in the day so it's hard to tell, but recently I've been pumping off my right side as have a bad crack, and the most she's taken in the day has been 120ml. She'll take 150 for the DF and she will NOT let go til she's drunk every drop!

Congrats on your triplets, I am in awe!
