3.5months
« on: February 06, 2012, 04:35:20 am »
DD is 16 weeks on Tuesday and I'm noticing that she is really uninterested in her bottles lately.  I'm thinking that she needs more time between feeds.  She goes easily 3.5hours between feeds during the day except towards the end of it.  Today she went 4hrs with no problem (she was with DH).  So since she is coming up on 4 months old pretty soon should I be switching her to a 4hr feeding schedule even though she is still waking for a feed during the night?

Still waking for a feed isn't an indicator that she can't go to 4 hour feeds. If she can go longer then yes, move to 4 hours some formula fed babies need 4 hour feeds much sooner and she is only a week off 4 months!
