S recently had a tummy bug and will often refuse dinner when OT. I  can't stand the thought of him going to bed without dinner (and he's smallish for his age). I have been making him smoothies. Milk, full fat yogurt, frozen fruit or berries, banana. I throw in some flax oil and probiotics as well as some veggie greens which make it pretty sweet. Its quick and he loves it. Tonight he wouldn't eat dinner, only took a couple of spoonfuls of yogurt, so I made one for wind down time and he asked for seconds.

Sorry, just read back, yes, definitely go back to full fat milk.  Semi skimmed is ok from 2 but only if gaining weight well.  If you have any concerns, that seems like an easy route for a few more calories.
Here's my blog which is focussed on simple food for babies, toddlers and families http://mamacook.blogspot.com/
