She slept for 12hours, with one nw. Woke up at 6:50am demanding me to wake up.
I hate the fact that she wakes me up and doesn't wait for her groclock.

Don't talk to me about the Groclock this morning lol  I think a) we need to really ditch that nap because he only did 10 hrs last night and b) the Groclock is dead, ding dong the Groclock is dead lol

I think her night was great though hon - really.  12 hrs is a great night sleep and a nice happy preschooler today!

Sabs, even though its hard to see the nap go, (I LOVED that time when dd was little), it was soooo nice to get some time back with dh. Her going to bed at 7:00 was a lkife changer for us. Prior to that, bedtime was creeping closer to 9pm on nap days. I ditched it, moved BT earlier, and loved the hang-out time with dh.   :)

what a mess we are in. We went to my brother's house and she napped for 20mins in the car. Went to bed easily but woke up 10hrs later.  Short night! It seems she is not tacking on anymore and I know it is b/c that nap has to go.

She sounds OT though if she fell asleep in the car and she's only doing 10 hr night.  How long was her day?  It all boils down to that for us lately.  What time was bedtime?

I wouldn't let her nap, I'd go for a much earlier bedtime or you are going to get the same issues - a nap not long enough to do any good but will mess up bedtime. If she was awake at 6.50 I would aim for a 6.30 sleep time, have her in bed a bit before to allow for settling time.

well she passed out on her own at 1:30pm. Sigh. Let her nap for 45mins and was asleep by 7:50am.
Going to aim for a no nap day tomorrow and do an earlier bt.
God, i hate this!!!

following along here as we are in the same boat.  we actually consulted with a sleep consultant who had us reinstitute naps (because 2 weeks of no naps led to multiple night wakings and such) and since DD is back to napping 1.5 hours her night is only 9 hours!!!  i HATE this 1-0.

it is just horrible.

She did 3 no nap days and that resulted in a long nw and an ew at 6am.  I had to give her a one hour nap yesterday.

It just sucks, really sucks. I know it is this 1-0 that causes her nws but it is also habitual b/c she constantly comes into my room.

I never thought sleep would get more complicated as they get older.
