So, can I take this thread captive for a minute?  :-[ Samuel is doing the same as first mentioned on here and waking EVERY night between 10:00 and 10:45. Last night he actually stayed awake afterwards!  :( That cannot start happening!! Should I go in at 9:45 and feed him, or just do w2s and give him his paci? Wdyt?

I think W2S could be worth a try :-\ unless he has hit the 6 mth GS lately is in a developmental leap?

Any indication of discomfort? - teeth start to make an appearance around now ;)

Yes ma'am!!! He has *just* come to the end of it I think (and hope). It was the first time that I wondered if I was going to be able to keep EBF'ing! He was going every 2 hours on the dot until I started feeding both sides, then it was more like 3.5. but one day was so bad that he was starting to fuss/come off the breast right away because my letdown wasn't instant (a whole 30 seconds is average! come on, now ::)) So during that time he was having more NF'ings and it has affected the"DF" as well. I should be able to do w2s, as I don't think it's actually hunger now (based on the last few nights-the way he nurses isn't the same, it's not ravonous anymore)
Thanks, Sara  :)

Hope he is at the end of it! The 6 month GS is massive and then they have a big developmental burst! It's a bit of a nutty time ::)

Let us know how W2S goes ;)

I did w2s last night at 10:15 (because I only just then remembered!  :P) and he slept until 11:00. I fed him then because it had been over 3 hours, so I felt like it would be a waste to hold him off and then have him wake an hour or two later. So, at least he skipped the 10-something WU.  :)

Well, I should have....got distracted last night and just went to bed at 10:45 without doing w2s, although he may have woke2s a little himself just because of the small amount of noise we made when we came to bed (our bed is next to his). He woke to eat at 12:00. Hey, it's a small improvement! He had last eaten around 7:00.  :)

I should have maybe waited a tad longer before doing my happy dance... :-(

The DS isn't doing his habitual waking for DF anymore (which, don't get me wrong, is FANTASTIC), but he's now waking closer to 2 or 3am for his NF and more often than not NW a few times after that.

I'm really hoping it has to do with all the changes in mobility, activity time, etc., because I. Am. Exhausted. Crossing my fingers that it will pass sooner rather later. :-)

DO you think the NW closer to the morning are related to routine at all?
