confusion over soya milk
« on: March 10, 2012, 18:29:03 pm »
Hiya ladies.

DS is dairy, egg and gluten free. He's 2.

We have been on nutramigen AA but that ran out and the prescription was only until he was 2.

The past couple of weeks he has been having soya milk. His intake has gone right down and he will literally just have 30-50mls a day on his ceral; if that really cos he doesn't drink the left over milk.

Even.having such a small amount I am a little concerned with it.
His poos, are like the colour of bricks, they are quite soft.
Is this normal for soya or not?

I am thinking of going out on Monday morning to get him some goats milk.

In short, is his poos normal for soya or not?
If not should I try goats milk?

My dietitian is just rubbish at the moment. Been.trying to see her since October! My pead is just as bad, our January appointment finally came through for end of April!

it will be quite a change from the aa formula to soy.  tbh I have no idea what normal poop is like, DS is all over the place all the time, he is on soy too.

and the colour of bricks, that's strange. DS has normal colour poop even if it's an off consistency! but I wouldn't worry. give him and bit more time to settle on it, I wouldn't change again just yet
