Hi there!
Thanks for all your advices!!

She is not a cat nap person ... She takes ages to go to sleep I have to APOP to get a cat nap and then it is not possible to put her to bed until realy late!!

So I am gonna go for the early BT I thought of 17:30 since she WU from the nap at 11:50 would give her a 5:45 A time ...

For the teething med, we don't have the powder you speak of in Switzerland , sounded good.

I just feel her teething process is kind of slow and more painful Thant my big boy in some way... It's been a 2 months we are on and of the canines ..
At the same time she has 16 teeth at 17 months I think it is a lot no?

Tomorrow for the A morning time if she does get a good night I shall go for 6 hours
But if not I should just look for tired cues like today and avoid OT

Right now 16:30 she does look full of energy but with wet red tired eyes.

Hello ;-)

So it wa a bad night but better than the previous one

17:45 BT
20:30 NW
22:30 NW
00:30 NW
02:30 NW
05:00 she moaned (in pain I think)... and went back to sleep
06:00 WU for the day

12:30 Nap (I was aiming 12:00 but I didn't make it)
13:15 Wu from nap, I tried to APOP... no success... she is in a bad mood...

18:45 she was realy tired almost falling asleep at 18:30...she went down super easy.

God I don't understand what's going on... is it teeth, OT ? both?

I was wandering if I am doing it wrong during NW, I kind of APOP, hold her in my arms, say soothing words, ans then PD, she sometimes stand right away and then I PU say soothing words and then PD.

Hello after the bad night (tuesday)
We had a good night (wednesday)

18:45 Bed time
06:00 WU

She STTN but she kept on moaning/crying in her sleep for 2-3 minutes and going back to sleep all alone.

Thursday:
06:00 WU
11:15 nap (she fele asleep in the pram! I transfered her in her bed)
12:00 WU from nap tried to put her back... no chance.
18:45 Bed time, she resisited I had to go back 4 times.
20:30 NW
10:45 NW
11:30 NW
04:30 Up for the day, DH tried to put her down,to do APOP didn't work
06:30 she breastfed and almost fell asleep on the breast..

Can teething last for weeks like this? Like 3 weeks nightmare sleep, 1 week good, 3 weeks...?
I was wandering if I am doing it wrong during NW, I kind of APOP, hold her in my arms, say soothing words, ans then PD, she sometimes stand right away and then I PU say soothing words and then PD.

It sounds like a bit of an OT build up is thrown in there too making your LO restless and struggling to fall into a deep/refreshing sleep.  We had a very similar night last night.  LO was restless all night and up every 15/20mins from 2am-5.30am.  In our case it was a bad OT build up from being at my Mums the past 2 days combined with teething pain.  When well rested I find my LO is better able to get into a deep sleep and not so bothered with teething pain.

I would also, if possible, try to avoid APOP during the night unless it's an extremely bad night.  What happens exactly at the waking?  Does she moan/cry?  What happens when you go in?  You want to be PD-ing but without giving her too much help to fall asleep as she may start to rely on you coming in during the night when she stirs to help her back to sleep.  It's fine to reassure her of course though.

Hiya, I'm wondering if you went to set nap and bedtimes would it help things to stabilise a bit. We're getting our canines here too and they're the worst so far! Are you medicating at bedtime? That seems to help DD. The main thing I find during teething is that I have to stick really strictly to her routine as her cues become very unreliable due to crankiness. We find this causes the least disruption to her nights. What do you think of doing a set nap & bedtime? Since she seems to be mostly waking around 6am and is okay with long A times you could try:

WU 6am
Nap 12pm (capped at 1.5hrs)
Bed 6.30pm

Assuming this helps things to settle down you could gradually push everything later.

On the NW, it sounds like you're doing really well. Is she still awake when you're PD? You could gradually start to PU less and try to sooth her in the cot instead so she has less help from you.

Personally, I think it's okay to APOP every now and then if she EW's at 4.30am and it doesn't seem like she's going to resettle. At that time of day I would do anything to get her back to sleep so she's not starting her day at silly o'clock! And it helps to keep the rest of the day on track too. Obviously if you find yourself doing this every night then bad habits can form but it's okay to do it sometimes. :)

x

20:10  Bed time  I started at (19:50) I had to Wi/wo once
20:50 NW she woke up screaming like if in terror... I waled in picked her up kissed her and PD and WO.
