No Claire, it doesn't always end up that way. I will work at getting better at that. It might make a difference for sure. Thanks for reminding me of that :-*

Val- please come cook for me!!! Lol

Thanks for the hugs. She was up constantly last night and ate about every 2 hours. I have such a hard time not feeding her constantly at night time since she doesn't nurse in the day :-\

I find it so tricky getting E's dosage at the right times now she is on solids  :-\.  But I do find that her nights are much worse when I don't do it right.  Not sure of it helps but I give E hers as soon as she wakes up (depending on when her last NF was  ::)), and then wait for 30-45 mins to feed or give solids.  Dinner time is trickier and we just have to figure it out on a daily basis - I just try to make sure she has at least 1.5 hours after solids, or 1 hour after bf before I give the meds...and so that sometimes means she has an earlier/later dinner depending on what works out. So bloomin confusing  :P

Other thing - are you using a thickener at night?  i stopped using one for a while, and then noticed an improvement when I restarted xx
Claire x

Okay. I will make sure I am onto her meds a bit better. TBH, I guess what started happening was, the only way i can get her to take them is if shes crying and fussy ::) So I end up giving them to her right before a nap. Which would be on an empty-ish stomach. About 1.5 hours after solids :-\ But nighttime is right before bed so right before BF. So I will leave the morning dose and change the night one up. She just spits it out unless she's fussing and then she seems to take it without much care at all. So hopefully I can catch her at a fussy time but still far enough away from food.

I haven't posted on here in ages, Jenn, but your post caught my attention and I wanted to send you some ((hugs)) and milky vibes. I read back quickly through the previous pages, so forgive me if you've answered this already but: Are you still following any sort of ED?  What solids are you currently giving E? Are you still giving her probiotics? What dose? My gut says this is all still connected to her previous gut issues. Have you been able to see a Naturopath or had any tests done to confirm gut abnormalities (Organic Acid Test and/or stool test)?

I am soy and dairy free. I am not on strictly GAPS but we do lots of meals that's are GAPS. We went down the low sals road which we didn't see results to continue on such a restricting diet. We are all organic so no additives or anything could be bothering her. She is on 1/4tsp on klaire labs probiotics twice a day. We haven't been to the naturopath for quite a while with her as we didn't really see any results. I might look into that soon.

The LC can't see me this week and we are OOT for next week :(

I'm really just starting to feel done :'( She was up so many times last night and I just never get a break from it. I'm tired of stressing about this. I feel like I'm failing and I just hate this :( I wanted/want to make it to a year so badly. It's only 3 more months. I just don't think I can do it :'(

((Hugs)) Jenn.  :-* I like what J & E just said about letting go of a target, or goal. Same thing happens a lot with birth plans; women are unhappy with the way things turn out, but the situation called for whatever happened, ya know?

Go with each day, with the moment, with YOUR situation and YOUR baby. You're an awesome mommy whether you BF or not!  ;) :-*
