The thing is I think that they have gotten used to shorter nights cos of the nap and it does take a while for the nights to lengthen but the key is to be consistent with no nap I think.

Hmm he is not coping with so little sleep.  Behaviour is an issue but he simply just has very min. energy to play :(. He wakes up every morning screaming and crying if it is before 7 and less than 12h.  We cant really go or do anything much as i need to plan all the stalling time between everything.

We managed to have him asleep at 6:05 today at 11h30A.  FX

5am up, he was tired, something with the blanket, he wanted to go back to sleep but couldnt!  He was tired the whole day.  We cant put him to bed at 5!  Still no nap?!  If he can only sleep 11h, then we will have to work on moving bt towards the time that suits us best, around 7:30-8.  Is it better to let him take a proper nap at midday, then the notorious car nap at 3-4?

You could try putting him down at midday and wake him after 30mins  I honestly wouldn't do more than that else you are kind of going backwards.

Koe you are basically in the same boat as us, you either stick with early bedtime or you have to do a set bedtime and let the chips fall.  There's really no other way out of this that I can see.  (((hugs)))

Yes I agree and it comes down to the type of kid you have. If DS will tack then I would go EBT. If he won't then stick with a very set early-ish bedtime (not later than 7pm )and keep to it.
Hugs xx

Well...  Something happened today and we had to go somewhere.  DS fell asleep both ways!!  Grrrrr. 20mins at 11:30am to and 15mins @5 from!!  We are doing bt as soon as he is done with the potty!  But it might take forever to fall asleep!!!
