Why does BW suggest dropping cluster feeds at 8 weeks?
« on: May 04, 2012, 07:50:46 am »
Does anyone know?
We do the cluster (ours are 17 weeks) and they go to 1/2am.
Have tried to introduce the dreamfeed many any times but they still wake at 2/3am so its not worth staying up for.
(We have twins and I go to bed when they do at just gone 7)
Any ideas??? xx

If it works carry on, especially if you aren't doing a dreamfeed.

I *think* it's to do with getting a good 3 hour EASY all day really and so as not to encourage snacking but to get a good feed at bedtime. If it works for you it's fine though, a lot of people will do a pre-bath bottle and then a top up after the bath which is a type of cluster.

Sounds like they are doing well!

If it isn't broken, no need to fix it ;)
