Is the 2hr15 min A after a short first nap?

Yes. Since it was just 50 min this morning after a much longer A than usual, I put him down based on his cues after 2h15 - and he slept 1h40! :)

That is awesome! I think your right though, once he can do 3 hrs he I'll be fine, if he can do 2.15 on 50 mins then he can def do 3hrs on a solid nap ;) did you get a CN or EBT?

A CN, I got too scared of the 4h A time it would've needed until EBT. I'll try it though this week, maybe it won't be too bad.

Wow 4hrs before bed!  I would have done the same Elise and gone for the CN.

J can only handle that long an A time in the morning.  By the end of the day he's just grumpy and fussy and 3hrs 15mins at most before bed.  I think he's in one of those early waking phases and he's just had it by about 5pm since he's getting up at 5-5:30am these days.  This morning he woke at 5:30 and it was a battle until I just gave up at 6:45am.  Was fine until nap time of 9am.  He was even in the car with me and DD doing the school run for 30 mins and didn't fall asleep.  Very cheerful.  I cannot figure this kid out!

Yay!! 3h of A time, 1h20 nap!! :D

I won't be able to test the second A properly though because I have a lunch today. I'll try to keep him up if I can, but if he really wants to sleep in the stroller, I won't fight it.

I'm so happy to see that he can do 3h, and have a good nap! :)

That is awesome Elise.  We did 2h40/2h45 this morning and got 1h10 nap.  Think I am going to keep with that for a few days then stretch again, she can't seem to handle big stretches but I found if I do it on 5/10 minute increments we are usually good.

Yeah M is like that too, I'm actually quite amazed that I got him to 3h today.

Good luck and keep us posted when you start to stretch her!

now the tough part

yes, and having LO take good naps with those same A times... it seems like he's still pretty inconsistent so with the exact same A times tomorrow, I could end up with two 30 minute naps!!  ::)

That is my life too!  Last week I had 2x2hr naps on 2h35 min A and did the exact same thing the rest of the week and got 1h10/1h20 min naps.

Micky44, could be that she actually needs a bit more of an increase but needed those two good naps that day to catch up on a bit of OT?

Nuala - thank you!  That is what I was kind of figuring.  I have been slowly bumping to 2h45 A and so far so good, still short...ish naps of 1h10/1h20 but I don't want to do to much to fast so will keep with 2h45 for a few days then bump again.
