It's kind of comforting in a strange way to see so many other people going through the same thing. This 2-1 sure is a tough one! So here's the big question of the day: Should I make the switch to short am/long pm nap while we are on vacation? I'm guessing probably not, but we had big problems today with fighting the pm nap so it's kind of tempting. We are visiting family and DD is mega-over-stimulated which just makes the nap situation ten times worse! Yesterday flying here was awful because we had a couple of delayed flights that led to a super, super late pm nap (an hour and forty min though!) on the plane AND a late bedtime. She actually did really well last night, even sleeping through the night, but it was only like 9 hours, because of course she still woke at 5am!
(well, 6am here because of the time change) Anyhow, her am nap was STILL just UNDER an hour and a half (doesn't she need to make up the missed sleep somewhere? Or did the long pm nap on the plane yesterday do that?). She fought the pm nap for an hour until I decided to APOP (
) and hold her until she fell asleep. Ugh! So what do you think? Should we make the switch here or wait until we are home? And how should we handle the 2-1 while we are dealing with the craziness of being on vacation as well? I'm going crazy!
