Help needed with BLW please.
« on: June 04, 2012, 16:47:19 pm »
I am not sure if I was supposed to post in the BLW support thread or not, so apologies in advance if I have posted in the wrong place.

I have been having trouble with feeding my 8month old in general, as there is very little he will eat in the pure'd food range. So I decided to try him with some finger foods, and wow he was eating scrambled egg on toast, which he loves.

I have decided to research BLW, as I think it will be beneficial to my little one. He is nearly 8 months old now. I would appreciate some pointers, as I haven't got a clue where to start.

Many thanks

Ask away if you have more questions after reading though. There is a whole book on it that obviously has more Info. There is a good website too I think just babyledweaning.com

I'd thoroughly recommend the Gill Rapley books. The information one I got out of the library but I ordered the blw recipe book which actually has loads of information and tips on getting started as well as some yummy recipes for the whole family. From very early on C wanted to eat the same as us and still now watches like a hawk to spot if we have something different to her.

We're lucky that she is such a good eater as we've been able to include her in all our meals from very early on, well, apart from the occasional takeaway when she's in bed! ;)

Enjoy it- it's so much fun!
