Catching up after short first nap? Quick question...
« on: June 28, 2012, 11:26:22 am »
Just a quick one - if your LO does a short first nap, do you let them sleep as long as they want for the second one to catch up?  Or would you still cap the nap at 2 hours?  DD is nearly 6 months if that helps and (I think) heading for the 3-2 transition soon.  Thanks x

I say let him sleep if he will! You might need to bring the second nap earlier though so it doesn't get OT beforehand.

Thanks!  That's exactly what I've done today as we got a 55 minute nap first thing (think UT) so did a slightly shorter A and now 2 hours into second nap - woop!  Good to know you'd do the same  :)
