Awesome day :)

Any environmental things - noise or light at that hour?
Maybe push the last A time by another 10-15mins...
Is she hungry? Any way to sneak some extra calories into her afternoon/evening?
Could be habitual - hard to say if its only one day, habitual wakings you can set the clock by and happen every night.
Its possible she just needs a few days for the new routine to settle in, yk?

No light as we have blackout blinds. I stayed with her this morning and even tho she has a fan on I could hear traffic so maybe that's what it was?

I'll increase last A to 3 hr and give it a few more days... If she still waking early I might reintroduce DF and see if that makes a diff? She only had 5 oz this morn so I don't think it's hunger but maybe she's little peckish and when she gets into light sleep finds it harder to sleep? Wdyt?

This is my thinking... DS is like this still ::)

Do you have white noise? That may help just give her something other than traffic noises to concentrate on. I know DS wakes when wind rattles the flyscreen in his window... Just a random noise can startle them awake when they're in light sleep.

I have a fan on but that doesn't seem to be loud enough...it's never bothered her before tho? Is it because she's getting older so she's more aware of external noises?

I could be, could also just be an EW from UT at BT or hunger. Its still pretty normal for a 6mo to need one night feed...

You could also just feed at that 5am WU and she may just go back to sleep for another 2hr... I did that with DS at that age and he dropped it on his own. It has come back recently with teething and illness and I am too lazy to shift if from 5am to 7am but one day...

I prefer to be in bed and sleep 8:30-5, then snooze after the feed rather take the chance of interrupting sleep with a DF :P

Just think... one day she will be a teenager and you will wish she got out of bed before 10am ;)

Lol if only! I remember being a teenager I was in bed till noon! Lol that was a lifetime ago...

I'll extend last a time today and if that doesn't make a diff ill try feeding her at 5. at least that way I can rule out both things in one night and re think tomorrow if neither work!!

She was up at 5 again! I'm getting really fed up of this!!
No environmental factors, fed her she only drank 3 oz chatted to herself for an hour and then slept for half an hour!! So do I start day from 6.30 now? Why isn't this working?
:(

This is OT! If you've done BT routinem etc. always resettle - Tracy always said 'start as you mean to go on' - you don't want her to get used to getting up again after she's gone to bed unless she slept for the night.

Up at 5 this morning was probably an OT EW.

I suspect she is maybe teething or coming down with some illness? That's the only other thing that messes with sleep like that for us. Unless its the wonder week at 26 weeks... today I'd do a nap at 9am and another at 2pm, then BT at 6:30/7.
