on a no nap day at the beginning of nap dropping it is good to have them in bed 11.5 hours later so yes about 5.45pm...the early bedtimes are key really. Let us know how you get on. x

I managed to get him into bed for 6.25 and he was asleep within 5 mins so he clearly was tired. I don't think I'd have the guts to put him to bed any earlier, 6.30 is pretty scary itself but he seems to be doing ok (touch wood). I have moved his clock a little later so if he does wake he may go back to sleep. If he has no nap tomorrow then I will try to go for 11.5 hrs, as long as he doesn't wake too early x

He was already in bed before your post, not sure what time difference is, but if he wakes at reasonable time tomorrow I will get him in bed for same or earlier, if he wakes early I'll make the nursery give him a nap :-D x

I love them, just wish I wasn't so big and uncomfortable to be able to join in (34 weeks with number 2) :-(

Ok so no nap again today after waking at 6.30 this morning. He seemed fine and awake after bringing him home from nursery running all over the place, then by bath time at 5.30 he was more tired, but getting him out the bath and dressed is where the meltdown started. He didn't want to get out of bath and then he wanted a cake in bed, kicked off when told no. Don't get me wrong I like that it only takes 5/10 mins after I leave the room for him to fall asleep, but I think tomorrow I may need to do a nap or put to bed earlier. He's not at nursery now till Monday so I guess I'll have to play by ear and see how he is x

I try almost everyday...I can't let it go! Except days like today when he slept long ON, and doesn't seem tired. I didn't even try.

I think he def needs a nap tonight. He did go to sleep at 6.30 but woke a couple of times in the night, at 1.10am though I had several calls of, tuck me in, I need the toilet, open the door more etc this went on for about 20/25 mins, haven't had a NW like that for ages. He also woke this morning at 6.10 so its getting a little earlier.

I can't see him being UT so I guess he is becoming OT? I will give him an hours nap and go for BT at 7. I usually nap 1-2 but that gives a long A time in morning and shorter in pm does that sound ok, or should I try for earlier nap?

Thanks x

yes.

I would probably do a nap a little earlier.

Thanks, would you stick to just an hour or let him have a little longer?
