i have an HTC wild fire. It is small but on the old forum the picture just used to get cut off and the text spread out more. The half and half is on the full screen view. If I double tab it does zoom in but it does not change how many words are on each line, just makes the text bigger but that is annoying because i have to constantly scroll down which is a PITA when you are nursing and typing with one hand. i will see if i can take a picture.

KM, I just had a thought, have you tried changing your text scaling on your internet settings? On my HTC I select menu, settings, accessibility, and text scaling. Mine is set to 150% but I can change it down to 50%.

I am going to sound really fussy now. i did that and I did have my text set quite large so i could see without zooming in everytime (remember one hand only here). Scaling it down did make more words on a line but then it is too small to read from arms length. I had it set at this before the upgrade and because there was not the big gap between the avatars and the text and also because the avatars automatically got over lapped i could have it set at huge and still have the text filling the screen. Not greedy am I?

I looked up your phone - you are pushing the limits of do-able really as it only has a 240x300 screen... That's not a lot of pixels :(

Sorry, but there is not a whole lot I can do about it right now - but after the upgrade-aftermath work is done, I will see what I can do, if anything :)

OK so I have got the URL titles thing working, without breaking lilypie tickers. I had to delve into the forum code, work out how the plugins work and rewrite the plugin to fix it as no-one is developing it any more. Phew!

Next up, +- thingy on the quick reply...

Tim? Who on earth is Tim ali?
Thanks tom, I am managing with it a bit smaller and landscape. I think what was different was the size of gap between the columns and that the avatar one half disappeared. Lots of other things to do 1st though. I may have to get a bigger screen but unfortunately that means a bigger phone and I like a small one. I really am fussy hey?
