Wondering what other moms do to get their kids to actually swallow their food. DD is 12 months old, and eats, but takes a long while to swallow. Happily puts more food in her mouth, feeds herself, lets us spoon feed her, or use our hands to feed her chunks of food, but she doesn't always swallow her food.
Tonight, dinner was "finished" at 630, she played, had bath, storytime, and I was going to nurse her before bed, but had to scoop a big wad of food out of her mouth that she had just "chipmunked" in her mouth and stored for over an hour.
Any suggestions?
