We had a couple of complete refusals over the last month, it's a shock isn't it!?
The first one (there was illness, he had brought up milk twice that morning) I pulled out all the stops and use the major AP magic wand at 4.40pm. I kind of hoped for 20 mins but he wouldn't wake so it went to 35 mins and did regular BT (which then was 7pm, it's now later) and he did a full night sleep.
The second one I didn't try for as long at the 12.30 PD which meant I cold try the AP magic earlier, 2.05 - 3.25.
The third one there was a micro nap in the car but instead of easy transfer into bed he woke fully and totally refused a nap the entire day. Did normal BT and had a very disturbed night.
By the fourth one I just chucked him in the car and went for a drive to at least get a CN, again I gave up the PD but earlier so the CN came at 1.20, 40min (I can park up once he's asleep) and I drove to get him off again for another 40 min when he woke. But that night had total BT refusal too.
Don't know if that info helps any. I'd go for a short CN later on, like our first refusal. it did at least keep a decent night.
Good luck!
