Damn :(

It's something else then. I will have to pay more attention next time it happens to me to see if I can diagnose what's going on. Thanks for the info :)

I got out of resources error.

Tom, is it possible that there might be some old archives or backups for the preparation of the upgrade sitting on the server that can be purged for extra space?

It's not a disk space issue, it's memory :(

are there extra processes that don't need to be running there from the old system?  Can you run some diagnostics to see what is holding up the memory?  :(

There are lots of processes that are overhead from the webhost company. TBH, moving hosts will be something we will investigate one day as the way they virtualise the system has often let to troubles.

Other than that though, MySql and all the HTTP connections (each with its own php process) are the main culprits. There is nothing in that regard remaining from the old version. I will likely need to do some more MySql & php tuning.

No it is not. I am getting it too. It's a bit odd.

So I have enabled something today that might give me more insight next time it happens, except of course, it hasn't happened since lol.

It's an odd one for sure, and something I have not seen before in my career... (In that the server does not show any errors, the logs show that it sent the page, yet the browser shows nothing. NOTHING... *huh*.. )

I'm also getting much longer load times than usual. Given that we just upgraded our Firefox and are actually current now, that's kind of.... odd.

I get this too - thought that it was just iPad bugs, but evidently not.

Not sure if it is related, but I also find that when I click on the 'new' button it loads to 3-4 posts back rather than the latest post. Anyone else?

Right, I think I am homing in on the cause of the blank pages and visible errors. Need to do some learning first though :)
