How early can LOs have olives? I can't find anything online from reputable sources on this one.

I kept them to a minimum because of the salt... DS doesn't really like them though.

I posted on this a while back and most replied that they were good to give in moderation. I gave to DS around 9 months I think and always bought fresh ones. DS could easily eat a plateful if I let him.

My LO LOOOOOVES olives and has been having them since about 9 months I think...but as Bec says, I only allow a few because of the salt. We made pizzas together for dinner last night and not many of the olives survived long enough to make it into the oven ::)

Thanks for the help! I didn't even think about the salt factor. Might need to wait a little longer on those then.

I gave Ryan olives early on, probably around 9 months. He didn't really care for them but I kept offering and now he loves them!
