help!how do you "cook" asparagus & kiwi?

ok...so i'm being v adventurous & bought asparagus & kiwis....but i don't understand how to prepare them for LO from reading either v well know cookbook?!can someone explain to me in normal english how to do it?TIA!xxx

I steam asparagus - just a collander above a pot of boiling water and it is done when soft. 

I wouldn't cook kiwi!!!

mush the kiwi or give as a finger food in little pieces...

asparagus....we steam it here too but it has some tough stringy pieces so I'd be a bit wary of giving it....we did it as soups when mine were little...am sure you can find an asparagus soup somewhere???

You can also do asparagus under the broiler with some olive oil.  Makes it nice and soft for my DD to eat :)

Hope your LO enjoys the asparagus and kiwi.  Mine loves both but especially kiwi, he eats one every day :)
