Almost 9 month dd ready for 1 nap??!
« on: October 12, 2012, 10:58:07 am »
Dd is now on 3h55 min a time and I'm running out of hours in the day....I was wondering if its ok to let her nap as long as she wants for am nap (it our best nap-2 hrs capped on current at) as long as it doesn't cause EW and then 20-30 min CN to maintain BT? Wdyt?

So today's easy could be

Wu 6.50
A 3h55
Nap1 10.45-1/1.30 uncapped
Nap2 4.45-5.15 capped
BT 7.45 (I would usually do 6-7 day but pushing BT forward to fit in with clocks going back in few weeks so BT would be back to 7pm)

Any thoughts?? Tia!!

Looks good to me!

Once you are doing the 2-1 we did the reverse- capped AM and long PM- but if that timing is working for you and you are still getting a fine bed time then i'd say go with it. If you are starting to get refusal of the second nap, or bed time fighting you can try switching the order. Also- i'd leave any major routine changes till after DLS changes..

Thanks Katy- sounds like a good plan. Having said that she woke after 1.5 he so normal  pm nap today and Ill prob stick with long am and short pm for now cos pm is always hit and miss with us.

Good point about waiting till after DLS.

Thanks for the advice! x
