problems with notifications in gmail

Hi, the forum upgrade looks great!  I didn't fully read every single comment, but in skimming I didn't see the issue that I have.
I use gmail and the notifications have been quite spotty. Particularly with this topic in General Sleep issues: Topic: 14hr day??

I've had a couple of topics where I'll get one or two notifications, then they will stop. Once I was able to click unnotify and then re-click to re-set the notification and it worked, but this last time that didn't work.

Just for the record, I have checked my inbox, trash, and spam folders in my email to make sure the notifications aren't going somewhere else. I'm getting some notifications but not all of them.

I really wish I had a good answer for you.     Unfortunately, this was a glitch that sometimes happened even before the upgrade.  All I can suggest is to try to reset the notification again.  I'm sorry.

Actually I'm having the same issue.  I'm getting next to no notifications and I have a filter so they aren't going to spam.  I'll tell the powers that be (although it may take a while as plate is a tiny bit full)
