Still having a NF at 7 months

I would like to drop our last NF, which is around 3-4 am, but I am not sure.  He takes a full feed and goes right back to sleep.  Should I wait until he starts taking less at this feed?  We don't do a DF - I have never had success with it with either baby. 

I guess I am just trying to see how normal a NF at this age is...

I think it is actually quite normal although I could be wrong.  Are you breastfeeding or bottle?  If it's bottle you can try giving him a little bit less every day and seeing how he reacts. 

Have you tried to get him to sleep without a feed?

Thanks for your response :)  He is breastfeeding.  I have been trying to get him to take a bottle, but it is not working.  I can get him back to sleep without feeding, but it takes about 45 minutes, and he is up an hour later wanting to feed.

Some info: Night Feeds and the Breast Fed Baby

Totally normal to still have a feed at this age -- if you count the df, all of mine still did at 7 months.

All 3 of mine did/do. DD did until she was 9 months. DS1 did till 13 months and my DS 2 is 7 months next week and I am still doing 2 night feeds.

Yup, NF until around 12/13 months.  Completely normal for BF babies :)

DF here till 10 and 10.5 mths. Could have been done perhaps a BIT earlier but I was terrified to drop it.
If your DS settles so well afterwards and its been 8ish hours since his last feed, then this is technically STTN anyway, just a different sort of night than what others get (mine was 11.30 to 5.30/6am at this stage).

DS is 9 mo and we still have 1 - 2 NF a few times a week. I also found I could get DS to go back to sleep without feeding but like you it took so long and he would just get up shortly, so I decided it was best for both of us to just keep doing it until he doesn't need it (or wake for it) anymore.
