I'll post my EAS later today, but yesterday we did roughly 2 he A times all day, but I put him down for naps on his swing, and we had a 50 min, 1 hr 45 min, and 1 hr 20 min naps!! Hallelujah! Saturday started rough but I put him in his swing for his third nap and it was 1 hr 45 min as well. So he may never sleep in his Ed, but he's sleeping!

Sorry for the lack of updates...through the week he naps great at daycare, so I don't have much to update. Last weekend and yesterday, he napped really well. roughly the same schedule as daycare:

7:30 w/u and nurse
A 2 hrs
S 9:30-10:30 (at daycare this is more like 9, bc he tends to get up more around 7)
E 10:30
A 2 hrs
S 12:30-2:30 (yesterday I had to put his paci in and turn the swing back on around the 1 hr 10 minute mark)
E 2:30
A 1.45-2 hrs
S 4:15-5 (he usually falls asleep at daycare around 4:15-4:30, but at home it could be as late as 5, but that works for us b/c I pick him up at 5 from daycare and I'm not usually successful at getting him in the car asleep)
E 5:30-5:45 depending on when we get home
A 2-2.5 hrs
S 7-7:30 depending on bath and what time we get home

He usually wakes once after 40ish minutes to eat b/c he doesn't usually eat before bed. When he sleeps in his carseat at night he will sleep 5-7 hours, eat, then go back down until 5/6, then I have to settle (occassionally feed again) until 7ish. But I've been trying to get him in his crib, and he's been waking up every 1-2 hrs :( it's been 4 nights of this. He has been napping in his crib for am nap and swing for pm nap at home. Its almost always the swing at daycare.

Thanks for checking up on us :) I'm going to start a few more threads regarding the transition to his crib, and to solids b/c he hasn't been nursing great bus he's eating solids well so I'm not sure what is going on.

Please fell free to come post on the BF board about the nursing issues. I would cut back or stop the solids so that he will be hungrier for the milk. Milk should be the main source of nutrition at this age until around 12mo. I had to do this for a couple of weeks with my DS1 around 6.5mo and then once his milk was back up I upped his solids again and he was able to handle the bigger quantities by that time.

I'm glad you are going to stop using the car seat for him to sleep in. We are advised never to have baby in a carseat for more than 2hrs in 24hrs because babies need to lay flat (rather than in the seated position that a car seat forces) so their spines can develop appropriately. A car seat is designed to keep them safe in a collision but isn't meant to be used for extended periods of time.

It is only natural that he would sleep poorly when you move him to the crib as he has become dependent on the car seat or swing. That will get better as he gets used to it if you can be consistent in not reverting to using the car seat. Maybe a post on the Props would get some relevant eyes for this issue from mamas who have btdt, :)
