21 month old barely eating - not even his favourites
« on: November 05, 2012, 22:33:18 pm »
As the title suggests my lo is 21 months and on and off for the past month or so he has begun to refuse food. He used to be such a fantastic eater - eating everything I put in front of him regardless of whether this was meat, veg or fruit. Now he will not touch any veg unless it is baby corn or carrot. He is still fine with fruit but barely touches his lunch or dinner. I offer him a variety of foods and try to make it interesting using cutters for sandwiches etc or making faces with toppings etc but it makes no difference. His weight is fine and he has sooo much energy it is unreal so he is clearly getting something but I do worry. It's also frustrating because he had such a varied healthy diet and now he doesn't.

Is this normal? Is it a phase? Is there anything I can do?
