Oh ok thanks Elise....why are my two boys so DIFFERENT! Z never got swollen red eyes, or skin issues, or searched for the breast all.the.time...though he screeched a lot more than T ::)

Of course Sara it could be allergies for T... just saying it could be both ways. M also does get red-rimmed eyes very easily though.

Bet you feel better after that sleep! That's an awesome night :)

Seems like you'll have to be really careful re: hidden dairy for a while. At least you know :-*

Are you keeping up your intake of fats, calcium and calories in general? Drinking plenty of water?

Maybe your supply is just settling down now...

I'm trying to eat...but so stressed sometimes I forget...
Taking multi vit and drinking.
I def think my supply has settled :) does that mean I go back to feeding 1 side per feed, or stay in 4 hr blocks. (For the times T feeds more frequently)

I'd stay in 4hr blocks as a maintenance thing... except in a GS if he needs more.

Honestly, today is going really well :) finally had a poop!! And it's a good one...no mucus, no nothing bad and smelt fine.
Sticking with dairy free for now I think! X

FWIW, I have to be on a dairy free diet also and my doctor informed me it can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks for the milk protein to completely leave your system and in turn take yor LO the same amount of time, so getting mucusy poop sometimes is likely to happen. It was not until 4 weeks after my diet started that the trace blood was not detected in his poop. She also said it was ok to ave wheat bread and cracker that contain milk and it is more important to avoid actual milk, soft cheeses, ice cream, yogurt, etc. they say it is more about the amount of dairy being consumed and as he gets older you can start to reintroduce it slowly as their tummys get stronger...just wanted to let you know what I have learned!
