Not too much...

Did he vomit the entire feed or just a small part of it?  Often it looks like more than it actually is... if just a small amount, could be that there was a bit of air under the milk in his tummy ;)

How often is he feeding right now?

I havent tried the df or cluster feeding yet i know u said u never did df what time was your lo last bottle before midnight. At the moe i am waking him for this feed but want to bring it forward to bout 11 as 12 very late for my dh to give him. this is the times he getting his bottles atthe moe.

7,10,1,4,7,9-10,12 midnight may not finish this feed then 2 nighttime feeds which can vary i want to change the evening bottles round.

I wouldn't wake him for a feed at midnight to be honest - it's counter productive really. It could also be that waking him at midnight is making him wake more often in the night. Both my kids woke more often after a dreamfeed than they did if I let them wake naturally when they were hungry. Does he wake himself between 9 and 10pm?

You routine eat wise looks fine - is he draining the 3oz bottles yet? If he is then you need to put another oz in. I would strick to what you are doing 7am - 7pm or you could try feeding at 4pm, 6pm and a top up just before sleep. I would then do a DF between 10 and 11pm, but don't wake him for it and then just feed when he wakes naturally.

^^  agree with Laura - don't wake him to feed.

Personally, I am against waking a sleeping baby, especially when this small.

I wouldn't do a feed at 11 if he is taking a feed around 9/10pm.  Honestly, he is still so little, you really are at his mercy for timing of feeds right now... I know it is exhausting, but it won't be forever.

Well put him up to 4 oz and got him size 2 teats as was taking him ages to feed and he seemed to b sucking in loads of air he took 1st bottle fine within 20 mins and nxt bottle only took 2 half ozs he was very hard to wind both times. I give him infacol to help with the wind sont think its helping. Dont know waether he ready for new teats he didnt choke or gang when taking it.I meant to say i am going to give him his evening bottle earlier and then do df and try not to give him bottle at 9 or 10. I know there is a easy rountie in the book for a 4 week old do u think b ok to maybe try and start doing it now i will do it my own way and not run mad doing it.

Hun, you know your baby best - if you want to try the 4 wk routine in the book, have at it ;)

He shouldn't take more than 20 mins to finish a bottle... so if he didn't choke or gag, I would keep the faster teats and give him a few days to adjust to the new flow speed.

If he only took 2.5 ozs at the second feed, he wasn't hungry yet ;)

Sounds good to me!  My DD had a 8pm bedtime around 8 weeks... before that, it was 830/9pm... and we moved all the way back to 7pm by 4 months...
