Best night in a long time!! Laid her down at 6:15, she was out at 6:30 so 3.5 hr A, but oh well. A few burbles in the first 1.5hrs. Even went in once as she was getting insistent but then she was promptly quiet so I snuck back out.  Feod her at 11:20 and told DH exactly what to do. He stayed up the next 5.5 hrs and never even had to go in!! Of course!! He said she had one burble and put herself right back to sleep!

She woke at 5 and we almost started our day then. Took an hour to get her back to sleep but she finally went and got another 43 minutes of sleep. Whew. SHe seems really cheerful today. I feel pretty good too!

Sticking to the plan, I think we might get somewhere with this!!!

WEll we seem really stuck on 1 hour naps, so far but it is early into a new plan so we will stick with it. Yesterday had a 58 minute AM nap and a broken 1hr10 nap. ( needed help at 30 minutes) Today ( library day so just survival really) Had a 1r5 AM nap and then a 30 minute car nap. SHe is asleep now, out since 5:37. Last night she ate 5 hours into the night at 11:20. THen she woke up at 4:10 and I was hoping to smooth out an early so I fed her again. She woke at 5:45 but resettled easily and slept till 6:40. I am really hoping to sort of "save" a feed for the early AM hours to keep early wakings out of the picture....I remember when DS had a long spell of EW's and we tried "everything" W2S, EBT, later BT tweaks here and there and I just fed him through it until he was older and we did WIWO.  BUt maybe I should hold the line and do 5 hours in ( at least) and then wake up. Not sure. Hoping for a good restorative night for my girl!

aaand she has a tooth!!! As of this morning I think, could very possibly explain our crazy night. GOsh I hope so. 3hr15A got us, yes, a 1hr15 minute nap. Again!!! Could this be habitual??? Or just keep on??

Maybe... keep on for the week and let's see what happens at the end.  She may need a little bump.

Yesterday we had a 1hr16 nap and a 40 minute nap. OK night, except silly Mommy didn't notice Ivy had done a little poop so a NW was way harder than it needed to be ::) Today we had a 57 minute nap with 30 minute burble. So an UT length but an OT burble ??? ???. Headed for next nap at 2:20.

And here comes another tooth! Her other bottom one is just barely through, she is eating a TON today and quite cheerful. As usual...FX for a good night!!! And also next time she doesn;t settle easily I will be sure to give her the careful sniff test.  ;D

She literally..JUST NOW.. got on all fours. Oh wow.... could be a busy night!!! ;)

2nd nap was 27 minutes. Resettle for 8 minutes. Then another 30 minutes. BT at 6:30.  Day sleep total, just under 2 hours, yikes!!!

The day my daughter does at least 2.5 hours day sleep I will dance a happy dance around the kitchen!!

Oh good gravy. Out at 6:30 up at 5, tried for 1.5 hours ( I got a bit bull headed, and exhausted) to get her back to sleep. I even fed her immediately at 5 and she still fired up!! 3 resettles before I fed her at 1120. Resettled at 3:10 also.. I am just so tired of being tired. I could really launch on a rant here but I will putt it together and hope that things imrpove ( alot) once this stupid tooth is through..... She sleeps worse than when she was 4 weeks old,,,oh sweet Ivy....

Well we survived the night! I guess I get to do my happy dance now as she had a solid 1hr15 nap yesterday ( can't believe I am celebrating a 1hr15 nap) after an unintentional 3hr25A. THen another 3hr35 (oops, DS was having a meltdown) and we got a 1hr25nap with a 27 minute burble that needed a 5 minute resettle.  Of course I had to go put my foot in it as had to run out to Target and got back LATE. SHe didn't even fall asleep nursing! IN the dark! VERY unintentional 4hr45 :o :o A to bed.  2 very quick resettles before I fed her at 11. Then I went to bed and DH was on call. He came up a couple hours later and couldn't get her back to sleep. I tried and she seemed to be going on one of her eternal grizzling rants. He said he would stay with her. DOn't know what all went on but I woke up a couple times just worrying about them. Ivy and I got up at 6:15, I don;t know everything about that night time but 6:15 is quite readonable. A lot better than 5! SO, I think we are ready for 3.5A. I will ride out the bumps and see where we get I think. Does this seem reasonable? Getting my nerve up to wean the PU of PUPD I think. Just getting my head around it as I think it is part of the problem.... Thoughts???

Oh blugh, got detailsfrom DH  ( as best as he remembered) Sounds like he and DD shared an epic night. Wow. Several longish NW's. ( He is not as detail oriented as me ;).  If I had known this I might have resettled at 6:15. Don't know.

Katie, what can you tell me about weaning/eliminating the PU in PUPD. If the time is right for this. You did this with your DS right? Just trying to sort that out in my mind.

3.5hrA got us a lovely 1 hour nap.

Sounds like an OT night and nap this morning, but I do think 3.5hr A is the right move for now.  I don't have time for a full post, but will be back later to chat about PUPD.  I do think it's the right time, she's really too old for the PU part and it is likely a prop.

Thanks! Really appreciate it. 2nd nap was a broken hour. BT at 6:20.  3hrs after our nap. Side note...DS is drawing a picture that will help Ivy sleep. Thank goodness!! ;D
