Electronic/Sound/Lights Toys - When Appropriate
« on: January 07, 2013, 21:31:45 pm »
Hi Everyone
I have a number of electronic toys which I banished at about 6 months as DS was napping for shorter and shorter periods of time (down to 25 mins). This seemed to work as I think he was overstimulated.

He is now nearly 8 months, crawling and is getting bored by his current toys.

So when should I reintroduce the electronic toys, as I don't want to go back to short naps.

Thanks
Mango

I'd keep them to the first part of his A time - and keep the last 15 mins before nap/bedtime to be quieter kinds of play.

Thanks Anna
I have reintroduced the toys and you're right, as long as we have a wind down it seems to be going ok.

Thanks for your help
