Any luck with your little one lily_layne?
I increased DDs A time and naps have gotten better over the last few days and we even have some IS happening at nap time (yay!!!) but our nights have been horrible lately.  I've been working with Erin M on the NW board to try to figure out what's going on.  At least the good days are helping to make up for the frustration of the bad nights :)

I'm happy to hear that you've had success in extending your LOs naps - a good nap sure makes a mommy feel great, doesn't it?  Patting is what works best for us also.

Hi again,

Just wanted to see if you were having any progress lily_layne?
I think we may finally be here (crossing fingers) my DD is now on her 2nd successful nap in her crib with out any AP.  The only thing I did differently was kept her up an extra 5min.  I usually wind her down 15min before nap time to transition her to fall asleep as it used to take her that long.  But now with our wind down routine she can fall asleep in 5min so I don't think I was giving her enough awake time and I've been trying to pit her down completely awake so she can learn to fall asleep on her own, therefore helping her get back to sleep on her own.  Before as soon as I would sit down with her she was already half asleep in 30 sec.  So I decided not to sit with her anymore and hold her for like 10-20 sec and then I put her down mostly awake.  If she spits her paci out and wont fall asleep I go in there to put it in and then walk right back out.  Yesterday she wouldn't fall asleep and started fussing so I tried to comfort her but then she started crying and so we had to try  PU/PD and that worked so I don't know if it was that too but I thought I'd share with you what was working for me.

Do we have the same baby????  That sounds exactly like my LO:)

NWs are better and naps have been pretty good with an increased A time of 2h20 but we're in the middle of the 3-2 transition which is really throwing off the ends of our days making BT tricky.

Hmm maybe my LO is ready for increased A time.  Right when I got her doing the long naps 2 days later she was back to the 45min.  Today has not been good so maybe I'll start again fresh tomorrow.  Your LO though is a couple weeks older than my DD so I don't think she's ready for the 2h20 yet.  Maybe I'll try increasing by just 5min and see how that works.  If not then I think she's just going to be one of those short nappers till 6months :(
I've been trying over 30min to get her back to sleep most times I can get her at 30min but other times not at all.  I was reading some other mom's posts and one of the moderators said to try 15min and then get on with the day and just try to get the next nap so LO isn't OT.  I'm sure in time she'll figure it out on her own :)

I'm glad things are starting to turn around for you :)  It's exhausting only having them sleep 45min I'm actually looking forward to when I can start cleaning my house (lol it's a lot less work)

I know how you feel for bed times ours are all over the place, and with her cold she's had EW.  Good luck this week!
