Thanks, he had 3.25 A time this pm so nap started later than wanted so might cap it! Would it be best to have 2 1 1/12 naps or does it balance out? He's crawling like mad today so guessing this wears them out more at some point, do you have to watch out for shorter A time for a little while? He's 8 months on sat so guessing A times get bit longer!

Thanks for your help  :)

I wouldn't cap both naps as tht will lead to ot. If first nap is 2hrs then you should cap as anything 2h up isn't considered capping..and if am is over 2hrs it can sometime cause EW...re crawling some Los need shorter a times wen more mobile but if naps are 1.5h+ don't mess with a times!

Had to wake at 2 hours today which is unheard of lol!! Ok cool maybe until we get regular wake up time we will do BT as and when!! Not having to worry at capping this nap as woke after 40 mins so OT I guess!! Soooo confusing getting it right!!
Thanks your so helpful

I don't think second nap was OT after such a good first nap...maybe just a tad ut or just have been enough sleep? What I would do is keep first nap at 2h and cap second to have ur ideal BT...

He seemed happy when woke up but very tired by 6.45 which was only 2hr 35 A time but he had been crawling and very active so I'll see what happens in the night, he went down very easy! How much day sleep do they tend to need at 8 months?

How long have u been on 3h20 a? 1h20 is still UT and your next nap could have been UT or OT! I would make are last half hr before wd is low key to rule out OS before increasing a time again...

Did 3.15 for couple of days but still got 1.15 naps so 3.20 for 2 days! Didn't seem tired at 2nd nap but went straight to sleep as soon as laid him down!! Ok I'll try longer wind down!! Would you knock 5 mins A time off if under 1.5 hr nap?
