Siobhan, that's a huge progress! Do you remember your last thread? And even the beginning of this one? That's a huge improvement.
I am not sure about the NW, but IIWY I would just keep on doing exactly what you did in the last couple of days and let's see if the NW is gone. If not then maybe we can tweak something with BT.

Thanks, last night was better although we did haver a NW/EW but other than that it went smoothly. He went to bed at 7:15 was definetely tired not flapping of the arms etc. I did rock him after his bottle till he was pretty conked out but it was like 3min he was tired enough on his own. I put him down he rolled a few times then out he went. Woke at 1:30 a bit whiny put himself back to sleep. Woke at 3:15, I fed him he ate about 4oz then he went back to sleep about 3:35 then he woke chatting to himself at 5:30 I just couldn't face getting up that early so I rocked him for 20min put him back down and he slept till 6:30.  I think he was OS the other day when he woke at 9 as that's never happened and my brother was over that day visiting. I know I shouldn't rock him back to sleep but I just don't know what else to do about that 5:30 wake up. It's barely at 10hour night with the feeding etc.

You could swap the rocking with PD, maybe?

I'm not sure what you mean? I've stopped rocking when he wakes early from his naps and do a lot of shush/pat with minor pu/pd because of his reflux. Like today for some reason after an A of 3hrs 30min he woke at 40min crying, took me 10min to get him back to sleep with one reawakening but he ended up staying down. I used to rock him if he woke early from naps as I was so very afraid of the OT monster. I stopped about a month ago and things have been ok so far.  That's the only reason like this morning when he woke at 5:30 that I rock him to get to 6/6:30 so it doesn't throw the whole day off and make him OT. It's usually 3 or 4 days out of 7 that this happens now which isn't AS bad but still not great.

I forgot about the Reflux... So no PD.
Like I said, I would try and just keep things the same for a few more days.

Yep, going to stick with the 3hrs 30min a time. He was so tired tonight though I put him down at 6:55 and he was out like a light. So we'll see what the night brings.

so we're definitely trying to work towards independent sleep as he used to be just fine. I'd put him down swaddled awake and walk out and he'd put himself to sleep. now that he's fully mobile it's a different story. I don't think it's SA, as I can leave the room when he's awak with no issues, he plays well by himself etc. Could SA only be when going to sleep?

SA can be at any time of the day. But what is it that you are experiencing at BT? Is he crying loads? Could be OT?

I don't think it's OT as it's almost every nap and Some nights at BT. He will some times just start rolling all over the crip pushing his head up adn then about 5/10min later he'll start crying. Sometimes he starts immediettely crying. Like I said earlier I'm tried of chasing A times. He's doing mostly good naps on 3.5hrs A time (sometimes he wakes early and I need to resetle) Like yesterday he woke at 43 min from his 2nd nap and it took me 45min to resettle and then I coul donly let him sleep for 15min as then it would push BT way back. But he went to sleep 2.5hrs A time and slept till 4:45, woke to eat. Took a bit to go back to sleep but finally 5:30 slept till 6:35.

I think that if you feel like you are chasing A times and not getting much of a result, to just stick to what you are doing now for a while and accept that there will be good naps and sometimes there will be short ones, yk? Just take one day at a time. I know, easier said than done.

Thanks, I think that's what I've decided to do. If he is acting really tired I'll put him down at 3hrs 15min but will put down at 3.5hrs if he's acting normal. He did 2 good naps yesterday. 1hr 20min (woke up to dog barking i could kill the dog but lover her too much) then 1hr 30min. Went to bed at 7:30 woke at 4:45 ate a wee bit but then took 45min to go back to sleep.. Finally 5:30 slept till 7:15.  Do you think too much day sleep could cause that or it's just developmental.

It's actually a very good day! And the night has also seen a progress, no?

It could be different things, like not enough time before BT or a need of a little bit more A time.

Yeah It can always be worse :).. Yesterday was good. Woke 7:15 sleep at 10:30-11:45 Sleep 3:15-4:15 (I woke him) sleep 7:45 (he was rolling and playing for 30min but no crying. I put him down at 7:15 finally went up at 7:45 just patted his thigh a bit and he went to sleep. Slept till 5:30 AM which is about 9hrs 45 min. That's normally the amount of time he goes. Like when he goest to sleep at 7 he wakes at 4:45 to eat. I fed him a full bottle since it was so late and he ate 4oz didn't want more b ut got him toe at another 2. Went back to sleep at 5:50 woke 6:42. So not a horrible night at all. Just trying to figure out what to do with that bottle. I think I"m going to just offer 2oz if it's that late? He's eating about 24-26oz during the day with 2 solid meals of about 3tb of fruit or veggies at each meal. Not a lot but he wont eat more.

I wouldn't mess with that feeding right now, TBH, because your day and night is so much better! Maybe give him a week or two to settle into the routine and then we can try and wean this feed.

Ok thans. I just meant I was giving like 3oz water and a scoop 1/2 of formula that seemed to tide him over w/o ruining the am bottle. But this morning since it was so late I gave a full bottle but then he refused his am bottle.
