I feel your pain honey - (((hugs))) - and it wasn't even perfect here before we hit this mess!  Not that I'm any expert at sorting this out, but I generally have found that keeping the day shorter with either one nap and EBT or two naps but limit one of them to a really really short CN seems to keep the OT to a 'manageable' level.  The long days are what seem to tip us over the edge.

I hear you!but DD just doesnt seem to tack on sleep to
night-times.anEBT means an early WU here,it seems.she
felk asleep easily at 7.15pm.v long day though, you're right.
Not sure how to approach tomorrow.perhaps set naps are worth a try?

anEBT means an early WU

This was us until I cut that second nap and didn't allow a CN at all.  Regardless of nap length.

Our worst day was this:
wake 620
Nap 1050-1210
BT 640.  Sucked!

It only took 2 weeks of really being strict with nap and BT to get sorted here though...

So would you suggest doing the set nap then?

If naps are becoming a battle ground with no good long naps consistently, yes.

We did 4hr50mins A.
She is awake, rolling around the cot after 1hr20min nap.
Woke at 2.15pm.
Am i right in thinking there's no point doing a 2nd nap?
When would you do BT?

just thinking....before, when we got 1hr 20min naps, it meant i needed to increase A....does that same rule still apply when on one nap?

Could be OT... it's all really rather odd during the move to one nap... generally a nap under 2 hrs is OT, but if she had a really good night and was just chilling with momma, it could be UT too.  Clear as mud?

:)

Just to add to the mud, we've definitely had both UT and OT 1h20 naps......if she woke cooing and had quite a chilled out morning I'd probably lean towards UT but wouldn't add much in terms of A.  Maybe 5-10 mins or try for an active morning as best you can - climbing stairs, crawling, walking with hands held etc?

at the 60min mark.not upset&it's been 15mins now.
Would you try a quick 20min CN?

I'd probably still push on through to EBT...unless you can get a quick CN in about 3h and not make the day too long?

we were out & she fell asleep in the car!usually, she wakes the second you stop the car, but this time, we turned off the ignition, opened the seatbelts, the doors, the boot...the works!!!!& still not a stir out of her!!she really is so OT at this point.ugh.finally woke her at 25mins at 5.30pm & DH is planning on getting her into the cot at 7.30pm.she has her vaccination tomorrow morning, so between that & the shoddy naps we've managed to give her, i'm dreading leaving her with the CM!
