We had a pretty good night really - NW at 2:30am (unusual for her), and I listened for a few minutes but didn't sound like she was going to go back to sleep, so I got up and went to the kitchen to get her a drink and a dose of pain meds but by the time I did that she stopped crying and had gone back to sleep. Lucky! She still hadn't made a sound by 7am so purposely I flushed the toilet (room next to hers) and made a little bit of sound and that woke her. I know a lot of people don't believe in waking a sleeping baby but I truly believe the more consistent we are with set wakeup/sleep times, the quicker she will adjust. Time will tell if I'm right but it has worked in the past for her. It's only when I let times get inconsistent that we've ever really had problems.
So, that means we're at a point of so far, so good. Day 3 of 1 nap and we had a 12hr night following a 2.5hr nap. If we can keep that up I'll be a very happy mummy! Totally remembering Katherine's point about it often going well for a few days before OT creeps in though!
