How long do you take Domperidone+herbs for?

Hello All!
I've been taking Domperidone, Fenugreek and Blessed Thisle for a month now.
How long are you supposed to take it for?
My milk supply has been up and down since I've had a lot of issues with BF'ing. I had cracked nipples (very badly) and I was exclusively pumping and bottle feeding my DD2 for 3 weeks, now that we are back to bare breast I need to boost again my milk supply...just wondering how long more should I/or is it ok to take Domperidone+the herbs

Really sorry, don't have a good answer for you to that one.  That said, I think I've read somewhere that you're best to wean those supplements gradually rather than going cold turkey (probably on http://www.kellymom.com)

Today I met a LC and she told me the same. She says as soon as you feel your supply is good then you can wean gradually, if ever feel my supply goes down then start again all together.
I'll give it another week and then start weaning.

Good luck.  I was on domperidone for 6 months with my DS.  Be careful to wean very slowly or your supply will drop.  I was taking 40 mg 3 times a day which is a fairly high dose for bf.  when weaning I dropped one 10 mg tablet every three or four days so it took several weeks to stop taking it.
